Eclectic Full Contact Theatre in Chicago is accepting submissions for Diltie Moss, by Emma Dawson, an upcoming episode of their audio drama anthology podcast, The Half Hour Audio Hour, highlighting the work of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ artists.
DILTIE MOSS Tells the story of Eloi, an average, unassuming man who is driven to act courageously when he discovers his friend, Victor, is about to marry a woman from Diltie Moss, a small town in England with a potentially deadly marriage tradition. What he discovers when he runs to the rescue is more than he could have ever anticipated. Diltie Moss explores the dynamics of close male friendships and questions what is truly real.
We are seeking the role of ELOI: Male-identifying, 40’s. Average, unassuming, a bit socially awkward, but warm and truly cares about those he considers his friends. Can have a Northern British, Welsh, Scottish, or Irish accent.
